In addition to the scheduled events there will be opportunities for individual trips to the local Temazcal (sweat lodge), the Museum, and of course the ancient ruins of Palenque which are just a mile up the road. Every afternoon from 1PM-5PM the schedule will be open to your ideas, so think about what you could contribute.

9AM-1PM Hike to discover the Forgotten Temple of Palenque with expert local guide Gabriel. Temple Olvidado is hidden in the jungle and not yet excavated by archaeologists.

5PM-7PM Storytelling with the legendary Don Moises Morales. Hear the first ever English speaking guide at Palenque recount stories of the Maya.
